Box Car Racing

We ventured northwest a little bit to a great little Box Car Track. We all had a blast. Ryan loved the steering wheel and Colin quickly discovered that Lane 3 got you to the finish line first. The little guy loves to win... hmmm, where did he get that gene? opps!

K-Bay by boat

Another great adventure! We joined some friends out on a pontoon, or family boat, today on Kaneohe Bay. JT drove the boat out about a mile to a giant sand bar. It was so shallow that it was mid-calf on the kids at some points. It was a little cool, around 73... I know, we have a warped sense of what is cool already! Isn't it great! Cool breeze aside, we had tons of fun splashing around and cruising on the boat. Our boys are quite taken by JT and Jenna's girls, as you can see :) Colin's favorite part was going "fast", encouraging JT to go, "full speed ahead"!

North Shore

Dave was home early tonight so we decided to drive up to the North Shore. We played in the sand at Waimea Bay and then watched the sunset as we had dinner at one of the restaurants in Haliewa. The sun was hidden behind the clouds. But, to stare at the Pacific and watch people paddle board out into the water just fine with us.

I could live here :)

We spent another morning with Stephanie, Miles and Simon at Ko'Olina today. This time we went to Lagoon 1A (fancy name). It was beautiful. A really deep semicircle beach with absolutely beautiful water. The boys all had a great time playing in the sand and the water. Colin did great boogie boarding today, he's getting much braver :) We also ventured inside the hotel and saw some hammerhead and reef sharks, some sting rays, puffer fish, star eyed parrot fish, etc. There is a path that wanders through pools of sea life. Isn't it beautiful?!
